At first you have to decide that what kind of article you want to wright.Then you have to do some work for rank your article in search engine.
Go your browser search box and type keyword planner.then search.you will see this

Then you have to sign in with your google account. If you have not any google account then make one.

then you can chose your key best key word from here.you will also get key word idea from here.One thing you have to remember that you have to chose those key word which have lot search volume and less competition.find 3 best key word for your article or your page.Then put it into your article.If you are a word press user then install 'yoast seo'  to put your key word.You have to put you keyword in you article too.so how to do this? put your main key word in your article head part.then middle part and another in last part.I will discuss the whole thing in my future article.Always do better than other.
